A Journey Through Biblical Lamentations

A Journey Through Biblical Lamentations Psalm 30:5 Weeping may endure for a night, But JOY comes in the morning. Begins March 20 at 6:00p Meets in Angell Room Led by Lanie Ehlinger: lbehlinger@aol.com There are times where life’s burdens are too heavy to carry. We smile through the pain and attempt to shoulder our burdens alone. There is good news, friend. You’re not alone when going through a difficult season. There is a Biblical term for this experience– it’s called lamenting. Instead of running away from the pain, God wants us to run toward Him and cry out to Him. He longs to hear the fullness of your heart. He can handle your difficult emotions and hard questions. He laments with us. And He is able to lift these burdens off our shoulders if we let Him. In this interactive study, journey with us through the book of Lamentations and the Psalms of Lament. Our writers have also walked through incredibly difficult seasons, and we shed light on some of the beautiful things God has revealed along the journey through the devotionals included. In addition to the personal devotionals, we’ll walk you through the process of Inductive Bible Study. This method is taught in seminaries, explaining how to accurately read and interpret the bible. We’re so excited to share it with you and we hope that it brings your bible study experience to life.
